“Parents of the Field” Project by Christopher Mitchell at The School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution, Commonwealth Center for Excellence at George Mason University. This project’s goal was “to record visually the recollections and views of some of the individual scholars and practitioners who initiated the field of conflict analysis and peace research in the 1950s and 1960s.”
August 16, 2015– Interviewed by Dan Cummings for Channel 9 in Syracuse (ABC) for the show Newsmakers. Kriesberg discussed his views about poverty, challenging Congressman John Katko and then discussed his newest book, Realizing Peace: A Constructive Conflict Approach.
April 2015– Columbia University Presentation at the Advanced Consortium on Cooperation, Conflict, and Complexity (AC4) and the Earth Institute. He also discussed the book on the radio show, “Conversations from the Leading Edge: Peace and Conflict at Columbia.”

Program for the Advancement of Research on Conflict and Collaboration – PARCC
I was the founding Director of the Program and was Director from 1986 until 1994. I am currently Senior Research Associate in PARCC.
For many years, I was the academic editor for the Syracuse University Press series, “Peace and Conflict Resolution.” Further information about the press and the series is available at the site.
